Increasing tropism of nanoparticles for certain cells and tissues
We have gained experience in using Nanofitins® as vectors for different payloads such as nanoparticles. Click chemistry was repeatedly used to couple Nanofitins® to nanoparticles. We demonstrated a selective, receptor-mediated addressing of nanoparticle towards certain cells and tissues, expressing on their membrane the target of the Nanofitins®. This specific addressing is dependent on the concentration of Nanofitins® on the nanoparticles.
